Through the Nightmares
january – april 2019

As part of the "Fundamentals of Video Game Sound Design" course within the one-year educational program at the Sound Design Institute, I collaborated with the developers of the indie platformer "Through the Nightmares." After the course ended, students who wished to dive deeper into the pipeline and practice creating assets for video games were offered the opportunity to fully join the development of the game as composers and sound designers—working on sounds based on technical specifications and asset lists provided by the development team.


In a team of 13 sound design students, we spent four months creating various audio assets for the game, while the developers selected the most successful ones from the overall pool to be featured in the final version of the game.
